THERE IS A GHOST IN MY HEART ❋ Richard Kerwin
and the piano ravel composes
and the presence of other bodies
crowd heavily against me
we were flesh once
plunged tongues into navels
broke rocks with our gavels
were hungry with dust
and sparkling gems
and old bones and disgust for
the place i am
putting my tongue
i am licking at the grit
the grave land
the broken ghosts
all baptismally pure
and you have bare feet
and in the wan moonlight
and something is weeping
