A KIND OF PLACE

i feel like i’m entering
a kind of place where
no one answers a text
at 3 o’clock in the morning
at least nobody i want to
sleep with
there is only one person
i want to sleep with
but that person
i don’t think exists
so what i’m saying is
is anybody awake
in the year 2000
and are you wearing
the skin of someone
or any skin
and also how did i get so
dying and
but
since
nobody is awake
in that year or any year
