Far from the exhausted dominions of Earth, N.E.W.T. enters a utopic realm populated by sublime outsiders, celestial guides, a wisdom-dropping leather daddy daylily, and a transcendental dog. Here, pleasure is not an escape from reality but a way of remaking it. Friendship, nourishment, erotic play, nature, music, and collective care become the foundations of another possible world.
But no sanctuary is without its shadows.
Guided by a looping energetic blueprint known as the Ten Days of Celestial Bodies, N.E.W.T. moves through a universe governed by its own strange rhythms. Only on the Day of Moon can the past be remembered. As buried memories begin to surface, the line between dream and history, fantasy and survival, becomes increasingly porous.
Part perverse hero’s journey, part mystical memoir, Aqueous creates a portal into a world where queer imagination is treated as a serious form of knowledge. Across its 194 pages, the book moves between radical faerie joy, underground music, spiritual devotion, abuse of power, desire, friendship, and the ongoing work of confronting what the body has carried.
The result is playful, sensuous, irreverent, and difficult to categorize: a novella, a constellation of stories, a ritual object, and a work of healing fiction.
Aqueous does not present liberation as a clean destination. Instead, it asks what becomes possible when fantasy is allowed to intervene in the stories we have inherited. What new selves might emerge when the wounded parts of us are met with curiosity instead of shame? What if the inner child were not merely healed, but invited to build the world?
Fariha Róisín, author of Survival Takes a Wild Imagination and Who Is Wellness For?, calls Aqueous “a queer revelation,” praising its extravagant vision of friendship, care, erotic play, and future queer possibility.

Raised in a small town in the British Columbia Rockies, Mind Bath developed a creative practice shaped by solitude, natural mysticism, and the private universes opened by music. Through intimate vocals, lush queer poetry, and left-field production, his work has built a devoted underground following grounded equally in sonic exploration and spiritual devotion.
With Aqueous, that practice expands beyond sound into a multidimensional literary universe.
The book will be released alongside Mind Bath’s companion album of the same name, available on vinyl and streaming platforms on September 4, 2026. Read together, the book and album form two entrances into the same world: one carried through language, the other through sound.
